I intend to install these on my 78 280 Z / 250 GTO project with 2 inch sectioned struts and temporarily KYB GR2 cartridge struts prior to Illumona's. I have the complete Energy Suspension bushing set and plan to install 2+2 sway bars. Absolutely no track service for this car. Has Anyone used progressive adjustable coilovers ? johnc Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 The high end spring rates for those progressive springs are at the max that the Illuminas can control with rebound. In fact, your rears are about 40% beyond the rebound capacity. Progressives are fine on the street and can work on a race track.
