Need help with some numbers....

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I am in my senior yr now and of course doing the engineering thing we have senior desing projects. After a few weeks of thinking it finally came to me that I should use my 240 for my senior design......so what do I need....

1) I need the specs of what the stock 240z braking power is meaning the distance from different speeds it would take the car to stop and maybe exact size of the rotors and brake pads....I looked here found different numbers plus my car is 4 hours away =)

2) Is there anyone or anywhere I can get stress/strain numbers on the chassis of the car. I have to prove the work I am doing does improve the cars safety and structural intergrity.

My plans are to upgrade the bakes...with the wilwood kit.....roll cage weled in, and sub frame connectors wit frame rail supports.

Thanks for any help guys!
