KG78Z
I am getting a L28ET engine installed in my 280Z. It is in and running but very rich at idle. Here is everything I have on my car. HIgh pressure fuel pump, 240sx tb port matched, TD06-20G turbo, intercooler, 400cc ~ 440cc injectors, microtech lt-12 cpu, and stock internal. On boost it runs fine. Off boost, (driving around town), it is running so rich it fouls the plugs. I have read about guys running larger injectors that the ones I have, how do they make them work. From everything I have been able to find out, with a programable cpu you should be able to run these larger injectors. What am I and the shop that is installing the engine missing. I have been in touch with the folks I got the cpu from but not much progress has been made. Thanks for the help. KG78Z
DAW
Make sure your cyl head or water temp sensor is plugged in, or if it is, make sure it is not defective and giving an infinite ohm (open) signal to the CPU. DAW
Z-Gad
If you are running a Microtech standalone, then you should be able to program your fuel settings pretty easily. What is your base fuel pressure?
Zraced...
Who is installing your computer? I am having major problems getting my LT12 to run my turbo L28 and am running 555cc injectors. Do your have their phone number? Thanks, Cole
