scott19
I'm within days of painting the car, and a question occured to me. After the car is back together, it's going to be living in a carport, not a garage. How long after painting should one wait before putting a car cover on? Tim240z
Is the paint going to be sprayed in a booth, then heated and cured? If it is, wait a couple of weeks minimum, if it is not going to be heated, wait a couple of months.
AK-Z
Are you talking about waxing or an actual cover? If its the wax, I would wait about a month or more. If its a cover then I would wait a couple of weeks. Don't use tarp. It also matters what type of paint you used (single/multi stage paint, heated/unheated [as mentioned}, expoy/enamel/laqure based)
scott19
I'm talking about an actual cloth car cover. Paint will be bc/cc, unheated PPG Deltron 2000.
