Finally done, I think! (brakes, flares, wheels and suspension)

Recommended Posts

After a few stumbles along the way, I finally completed my front and rear disc conversion, lowered it, installed illumina struts, konig wheels, 1" spacers and zg flares. After several configurations, I have settled on eibach front springs and tokico 280 rears. We'll see how it works out on the track this weekend, but I can't use the front tokico springs because they were for a 280 with shortened strut tubes, one of which was bent. They were shortened to the same length as the stock 240 tubes, but the spring perch was 1" lower. I didn't like the eibachs in the rear, because it sat too low, and the first 7 and a half coils were stacked on each other with the car on the ground.

I also put on the MSA version 3 bumper, and had to trim the flares a little to make them work. I attached the flares with 3m trim tape and screws afterward.
