Sparks280zt
First off if you use the search function all your questions can be answered. 1. Go to the photo album and look through there, tons of Zs like that, www.zcarparts.com sells some front valences as well 2. There is no kit, all custom 3. Yes, it has been done. Search for the details 4. Nope 5. Search, lots of options like lowering springs, coil overs, etc 6. There is no better way, its what you wanna do
MusPuppis
Yea, a couple searchs will net you a metric asston of info on all the questions you asked. In answer to #6 though, the Z will do whatever ya want it to really. Thats the beauty of them, (well, one of the many anyway). Whatever you build it to do, it'll do. briann510
Were you thinking something like our billet grille I custom fit? Hated the front bumper look and plus it got rid of 30 lbs of weight.
pjo046
Brian, seeing that you have removed the front bumper, wouldn't it look better if you removed the one in the rear as well? I personally think that would look better. And you'd shed some more weight of at the same time.
briann510
Funny you should mention removing the rear bumper as that is exactly what my son has been wanting to do for a longtime. Personally I think it would be ugly looking, but I think hes gonna do it and ill just have to see how it turns out. jus thave to plug or fill the holes... MusPuppis
I looked into removing the bumper myself. Scrapped the idea in the end though - looks like a *alot* of work.

briann510
im pretty sure brian got a chevy astro van grill and cut it to fit his 240, but ill let him fill you in Yes I bought a new billet grille for a Chevy Astro van off Ebay for $40 (I think it was for 84-89 years but cant remember exact year span). We had to remove one of the tubes and the 4 mounting brackets, and then mounted it upside down (You will have to make your own brackets to mount it). We also had to do quite a bit of measuring and trimming with tin snips of each side to follow the contour of the edges of the fender and headlight buckets. It wasnt a quick easy job and I am surprised we got it on the first try on the cutting and it actually fit pretty good. It does look mean as heck when its coming up behind you in the rear view mirror. Most people think its got a v8 under the hood because ofthe huge grille. Guest sho_shane
Well agin your car looks alsome. Can I ask, im thinking about getting rid of the FI and going with a set of triple carbs are they hard to keep in senk?
Guest sho_shane
And how much power do you make with Nitrous?
Guest sho_shane
Im sorry how much power could your motor handle if you put Nitrous on it?
briann510
The triples are very easy to keep in synch. We synched them when it was dynod 6K miles ago and checked them last month and they were still fine. We bought a nitrous fogger kit for it and were going to throw a 175 shot on it, but it never was installed. The cops around here are towing cars if they are pulled over and found with nitrous hooked up and I figured forget it. Aready got pulled over once and it almost got towed for the modded engine it had.
