Guest PROJECTRB240SX
Most 2-step rev limiters use a soft rev limiter (cuts spark rather than fuel) this fuel goes on to ignite in the exhaust stream creating a load on the turbine wheel which will build boost. It some situations (like the sr) you can launch at 12psi of boost.
Thumper
Ok thats cool. So the factory revlimiter cuts fuel and the softrev's cut spark and thats why the softrev will build boost and not the factory revlimiter. I guess I will have to get a 2 step for my msd 6al. I think I will have to play around with this. I hate lag:twak: Thanks.
