Nissan FJ20ET + MSnS = ?

Greetings folks,

I'm trying to get my engine bay ready for my motor, and am planning on giving the MSnS a whirl.

My first question is has anyone used the MSnS on the FJ20ET? The motor is rare to say the least, especially in North America.

Unfortunately my motor isn't here yet, as it is still being shipped :icon8:

so I'm a bit ill-equipped on a few specifics.

I've been fishing around forums for a while now, trying to get as much information together as possible.

I've read a great deal on installing the system on the L28T engine (83+ with CAS), and I think it's a safe bet that the FJ will be similar, if not identical (well, if you ignore the 4 vs 6 cylinder). They were from the same time period, and rolled off the same designer's scratch-pad ... so.

What information will I need (engine specific) to get started?

Heh, almost worth learning Japanese for.

I was thinking the same thing. The early Skyline's (R30) came with L4s and the FJ. One tattered old manual I have shows the electrical systems being very similar motor to motor.

Oh, and just because I went ahead and assumed everyone would know (bad habit, sorry)

the FJ is a single coil, optical CAS, locked dizzy.
