Good turbo upgrade L28et?

Hello all,

 

I have read a lot of posts of getting a bigger turbo to replace the stock T3. Unfortunaly, due to all the posts i can't really any info on this turbo.

I am currently busy with collecting parts to build my L28 et to +/- 350 crank power goal. I already have an alu IC, 444cc injectors, and now i'm able to buy a good (200 miles) used turbo (from a Ford cossworth).

The specs are following:

 

Garret AirResearch

Type: T04B28

s/n: FD0102A

465.288.3

 

intake side compressor:

external diameter: 70 mm

inside diameter at entrance of the compressorwheel: about 45 mm

 

Compressor output:

outside. dia.: 51 mm

Inside. dia.: 43 mm

 

Code on compressorhouse: AR60

 

Code on Exhausthouse:

25JO

JW WI 84 A

 

Exhausthouse outlet diameter: 65 mm internal with connection flange for downpipe.

(I think the seller measured the diameter of intake and output opening)

 

Bearinghouse:

BSAF 1

F 6

 

The Turbo needs an external wastegate.

 

I really could not find any useful information about this turbo on the Internet, or if it is useful for a Datsun L28. I hope you turbo guys could help me out on this.

I don't think it's really not big enough. 43mm inducer is little. Hybrid turbo starts somewhere in the 50mm+
