Guest Widebodys30
As far as what is the "Better" motor, I have read in several places, the VG30, no matter the source(maxima, truck, Z) will RELIABLY handle 750+HP using STOCK components, if built properly. They are ALL THE SAME components and castings as the engines Nissan used in GT, GTP, ect racing. Have you ever seen the STOCK main girdle? I believe it. Try those Numbers on a L series. But yes, much more $$ to build. Horsepower costs $. How fast do you want to go? BTW, Mr. 300 HP VG, how many engines have you built in your lifetime? HowlerMonkey
I've put a l28et into a infiniti M30 in place of the VG30.............and it's much easier to work on. It seems the Leopard/M30 with the VG30 was not well thought out and it's near impossible to reach most anything you work on while the L28 is a piece of cake. RedBeauty84ZX
The VG30 will have more potential and make more power easier given the electronics. But the L28ET is an easier and likely cheaper engine to work on...either way their both good engines.
