Guest 70datsun240
so, I have the MM 240sx brackets for my 71 240z. I heard that the single pod 90-94sx calipers are garbage because they tend to "freeze up" and are crap. will the two pod, also that fits the 240sx fit into my conversion? I believe from the 300zx? not sure though, maybe a jap import? anyone let me know befor droppin carsh on junk single pods? maybe im wrong maybe im not, i read all conversion info in all search functions. but my "friend" works in the import biz and tells me all this new info, whatta u think? Hypertek
Really? I never heard of 240sx calipers taking a dump... And i know 240s.. The calipers are good, esp with aftermarket brake pads and stainless steel lines... But I have z32 calipers all around on my 240sx. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v72/streetphase/100_05895.jpg Other brakes should mount up if those brackets allow 240sx calipers. Q45 brakes are fairly larger, same size as the z32 but single piston I belive instead of 4 piston. Altima calipers and maxima rotors is another swap done to 240sxs since it is basically the same size setup that the japanese model had came with (bigger then US model).
