Pictures of a wrecked Lotus Elise.

somebody mentioned buying it and rebuilding it... HA! the pictures do not do the damage justice (stupid camera phone) this car is trash. the majority of the body panels have separated and the chassis has a nice curve in it from the impact.

 

to echo some comments posted above.. The Elise is a very capable car with a good and SMOOTH driver. the Elise will make you look like a hero or a zero...more of the latter with a driver of limited skill or brains.

 

unfortunately this is a case of more money than brains. I personally dont know the driver, but from listening in on a few conversations amongst the people gathered around the car this person has a habit of buying expensive things and destroying them...nobody there had anything positive to say about the guy..and i'm sugar coating it a bit :icon52:

 

It would still be a car I would love to have and hopefully one day will have in my collection...although part of me feels that if i'm going to get something as impractical on the street as an Elise that I might as well get a westfield megabusa or similar 7 style car.
