Iwas looking at another Z website and what the article stated is a little disturbing. Any thoughts? Has been posted before. should probably be added to the FAQ section somehow. It is still hard for me to believe that the shafts can be accurately aligned using angle measuring devices on the outside of the casings. Hard for me to believe that any part of a tranmission or diff case is in line with the shaft axis. But it is done that way all the time so must be OK. SpeedRacer Posted December 30, 2005 Share Posted December 30, 2005 Yes, you should carefully set the driveshaft angle on your Z car V8 conversion. It is really easy to do if you use the JTR method since the angles are pretty close because of JTR's engine/trans mount designs.
