Boy from Oz
Does anyone have an idea as to the weight difference with a 250 GTO kit fitted. I know weight is lost with the removal of the front panels but I assume the new front compensates for that, plus the rear must add to an all up weight increase. Being fibreglass I guess kits may vary but any information would help.
y-not
My 77 250 GTO kit weighs 2800 with a 302 with aluminum heads. The wire wheels and tires are 300 lbs of that. Weight distrubition is 45/55. Don't forget you are removing the bumpers which on the later models are quite heavy. Bill
Here comes trouble
I am hoping the GTO fitted Z doess not weigh more. I have added front and rear inner fiberglass fenders The bumpers are about the only thing where there will be a weight savings.
