award280
I'm wanting the fuel lines in my 280zx project to come up a little further back in the engine bay, closer to the firewall. I was wondering if I can bend the stock hard lines to turn up sooner safely, or will the older metal crack or break?
Here comes trouble
Try Harbor Freight's hand held tubing bender slow and easy. 45 degree should be easy...............90 degree chancey probably will cave in and pinch off before cracking
Ed260Z
New fuel line is not that expensive, and you can up the size of the lines for better flow. Also over the years there will be varnish build up in the lines.
