Guest JAMIE T
I would say that turbo is not of the "T" variety. More like a 106mm Big Thumper. A local guy has one on his Mustang. It's a scary thing. stock type suspension and a roll bar that is for a mid 10sec car. It's a death trap. Supposed to be over 1600hp.
Mudge
With that much $$$ in the engine, its time to get that suspension fixed! 600HP will get a 3400# car into the mid 10s with slicks.
Guest JAMIE T
Hey Mudge, I know about that. LOL. My Mustang ran high 10's on DR's with just under 600hp. Slicks put it well into the 10's. The guy with the Big thumper on his 'stang is a bone head. It has never made a complete 1/4 mile pass. It either brakes something or blows the tires away. BLKMGK
Nuthin' wrong with 75lb injectors Mine is daily driven with 75lb injectors and the gas mileage didn't suffer any worse when I installed them. Still about 12mpg Something to do with me always putting my foot to the floor
Scottie-GNZ
Didn't say you could not use them but "you don't need them"
BLKMGK
LOL, oh okay. Depends on the weight of the car though. A tubby car might need them to run 12s Supposedly 550cc injectors on the Supra are good to about 500RWHP. 75lb injectors get you up over 700 I think - more than I'll need. I'm hoping for mid 11s, a friend went 10.7 but with an automatic. I've got no illusions concerning my driving ability What a fun roll-on though! Traction control will be in the next software release, I need it! BTW - I've got a T-78 on my car. A T-88 is a bit bigger. Both of those are DWARFED by that monster! I can only imagine the sound that thing must make at full spool I'd love to see a video with sound of something like that spoolin'! Is it going to be run on gas? Guest Anonymous
Back in the day alot of people somehow thought that the GNs were 30 MPG and 12 second miracle machines Why shouldn't they be? My stockish GN got 28mpg with about 600lbs (30 LT1 starters and an extra 2004r transmission) in the trunk on a road trip to Bristol last year. Oh, forgot to mention.. it goes 11.92.. BTW - Mine is considered pretty slow in the GN world..

Guest JAMIE T
BLKMGK, T78 is small compared to a Turbonetics T76. Greddy, or who ever it is that sells turbo systems for imports doesn't call them like Turbonetics does. A T76 is good to over 1000hp. I think a T78(greedy) is good to upper 700's at best. I think a T87 is just really a TSO4. I may be wrong on that though.
