Nismo280zEd
How many guys are using the stock bi-metallic bosch idle air valve? Does MS V3.0 need to control the power wire for this?
Metro
I'm using it and I don't have water hooked up to it. MS doesn't need to control it (I'm not sure if you would even want it to). You need to hook it up to a power source that's on while the car is running. As the metal heats up, it straightens out and closes the spring-loaded door, lowering the idle. Nismo280zEd
that was my understanding but just wanted to verify. -Ed

mobythevan
I used it with water running through it and had good luck tuning cold starts.
Metro
and it works well? I haven't driven it a lot with MS since I've hooked it up, but all summer I had it hooked up that way with the stock electronics. Been working fine so far.
