Nissan-Fan
Hey guys, i have a quick question, if i install an 83 L28 into my car, can i just swap ecu's if i bolt on a turbo and manifold from an ET?
TheNeedForZ
Depends on what your "83 L28" is. If it has the turbo head/cam and pistons, plus the turbo distributor & oil pump shaft, then yes, Just add turbo ECU, turbo, and manifolds. technicalninja
If your asking will the 78 harness and support pieces wrk. Sort of.... Much modification will be needed. Install complete engine support system from turbo is the easier way (by a huge amount) to do it. Good sticky at top of turbo section. AK-Z
On the note of l28et ecus, I was looking through MSA old catelog and it said they had performance l28et ecu for $599. Is it really worth it? They also have a $500 core fee and say that it will be refunded when core is recieved, does that mean that it really $99? AK-Z
It was on page 44 of the 20th anniversary edition of the MSA catelog.
