Silent Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 alrighty, the bango / eye bolts that supply the fuel to the carbs. i was told they are 6an fuel fittins WRONG! i have two -6 fittings and they go no where to fitting in there. is it a metric fitting? what size? crimping down -6 line looks like *** under the hood when the rest of the fittings are nice and pretty Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
evildky Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 datsun didn't use AN's, as far as I know no manufacturere does and I don't even think they were available back then, you can use AN fittings if you have the propper adapter fitting, I believe it's a brittish pipe thread but a metric was close enough to work, just find a local speed shop with metric-AN adapters in stock and match it up Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sonomaz Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 Yeah I did it. I think I used the Delorto carb adapter from Aeroquip. It is a straight thread on the carb bowl, not tappered pipe. I think is is something like M12 X 1.00 or close to that. Pull your Banjo bolt of your carb and use an open end wrench over the threads to measure it.
