Venture
I just painted my car and now I need to put it all back together. I bought the precision weatherstrip kit while I was at it, but I cant figure out how to replace the seals in the quarter windows. I must be missing something, because I cant figure out how to take the frame apart, and I really dont want to break anything. The old seals are crusty, so I really don't want to put those back in. Anyone got any tips or tricks. Thanks a bunch. P.S. I'll post pictures as soon as I get it back together.
jbc3
As I recall, Take the outer seal off and there are a couple of screws holding the frame together. Once the screws are out I had to work to get the frame apart. Jody
AK-Z
You have to remove the seal that surrounds the frame then there are 4x screws on the upper and lower parts towards the section that meets the door. the section that meets the door has a strip of metal and rubber, I don't recall having to have to remove that part. the part that its attached to is what needs to be removed. Once the screws are out that piece should pull out but you have to use force.

Z-8
I figured it out by going to a junkyard and just taking it apart. You will have to remove the inner trim around the window, and also the silver outter piece(if you have a ZX).
