Guest oZ87na Posted March 17, 2006 Share Posted March 17, 2006 I've been fooling with my 87 NA ECU, the only rom I have is the 1988 NA. How much different is the 88 rom from the 87? When I use the 88, everything is fine [almost]. The engine randomly jumps (or jerks) from normal acceleration to cut almost instantly and back to normal. The job on the ECU is good, everything has continuity and everything is normal except for this. What could it be? I bought a Willem Enhanched programmer, great and all, but it won't read low density 27128's like those on stock Z31 ECUs. Else I would be using mine. I'm using an AT29C256 and the file "stock88nafed.bin" from redz31.com. I thought it shouldn't matter but for some reason I'm getting nasty intermittent engine jerks. Help!?
