BIMMERTECH Posted March 26, 2006 Share Posted March 26, 2006 hey everyone thanks for all the great info you guys have already given me. i am going to swap the motors this week. i was wondering what are the things that usually get overlooked that i need to plan for ahead of time or get parts for? I am using the johns cars kit and i have all of the motor and trans brackets. i have a fuel pump, radiator, headers, pcm and harness are getting done right now. please let me know what else i need or would waqnt to have done beforehand. - i know i will have to get the driveshaft after the install. -i am running the 4l60e trans and still don't know what to do about the shifter? -i was also wondering what gauges everyone was running if any, i don't want to keep it stock so if anyone has aftermarket gauges let me know? LS1 240Z Posted March 28, 2006 Share Posted March 28, 2006 for the trans just use a regular shifter.. idk what else to tell you. does the LS1 have a stock cam in it? if not now would be a good time to cam the motor and stall the trans..
