ozzinc
I have a 72 240z that I will be installing the 82 280zx turbo cv shafts, I know it is not a direct bolt on, but what I would like to know is if I get the cv stubs off the 82 280zx turbo, will I be able to put these stubs onto the 72 240z spline without any modification, I have noticed some of the advertisement about these cv stub adapters. I will be installing my 87 300zxt lsd rearend at the same time that I will be installing the shafts, and I also have a mustache bar from a 78 280z. fastzcars
Yup. But you have to use the 280xzt flandges that bolt to the stub axles as well to make it work. Check out Pete's web page he's got pictures.http://alteredz.com/240ZCVHalfshaftConversion.htm. Here ya go.
ozzinc
Thanks for the info fastzcars, so all I need is those 280zx turbo flanges and im good to go, I know I will have to do something with my rear swaybar so that it does not touch the cv shaft. fastzcars
It depends on if you have the "Suspension Techiques" rear bar. Then ya they'r NOT going to fit without some modification.
