Guest FullBoostOrBust
Hey, I have a 240Z with Sr20det installed and am now venturing out into the realm of the Z31. (and am very excited about it! ). I really like the front bumper on the 87-89 Z31's but i've found a nice turbo 86 (i think its an 86) and would like to know if i can easly bolt on the 89 front bumper to it. Is this easly done? are the 86 front fenders/hood any diffrent from the 89's fenders/hood? I havent gotten up close and personal with any Z31's so i'm sorry if i'm asking stupid questions. And how about the rear taillights from the 89 onto the 86, that possable? Please tell me what will work and what wont. Thanks!
BLOZ UP
You need the 89 hood, 89 headlights and associated hardware, and 89 bumper. swapping the taillights is not worth it, unless you're direly obsessed. It involves cutting and welding, I believe. There's a write-up somewhere on the web, try z31.com
Guest FullBoostOrBust
I see. Looks like i would need to find a nice doner car for the front. Everything up front bolts in though? (headlights/ headlight motors/bumper)? or would i need to modify? The taillights looked pretty in there, was hoping it was like a bezzel that could bolt in like on the S30. Yea i'll just stick with the nose. Thanks!
