Sparky
Hey everyone, I've been wanting to design some front brake hats for myself based off the old JSK front setup, and now I have the opp to turn it into a school project for my digital design class. I was wondering if anyone had the components off the car they might be willing to measure or send one out my way at my expense for a few days so I can pull all the measurements off of them. when I am done I will post all the CAD files in the download section and might even see about having some made at cost. also, for those that have that brake setup, is there anything you would want to improve on them? CruxGNZ
I have the ones from his first run. They can be improved upon, which Juan actually did in his later rotor hats (just changed the way they looked, not any measurements). I can take measurements for you or I can send it out, but I'll need it back in a couple weeks, because my Z will be ready for the road soon. gearheadstik
I have a set for a 280 but have the thickness measurement for the 240...the only thing i would improve is to make the outside diameter bigger so it was flush with the rotor for a cleaner look....240=.668 260 and 280=.353 I'm also building a 240 and could use a set for it....let me know if we could work something out. Thanks Matt, I will send you a PM in a bit to discuss it. anybody else with a kit see any room for improvement?
