goodoldjam Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 I was reading something about iats failing from vibration when mounted on the manifold, on the ms site. Are all the sensors the same or are there higher quality made ones. I also see a air charge temp sensor that looks like a coolant sensor with a hole on the side, where the iat has a cage and its 10 bucks cheaper. I wonder which i should pick up. z-ya Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 The open element type are more fragile than the solid coolant type. For an NA application, you can use the solid type for MAT.
