Guest Anonymous
Note on their web site - I got the extra door bar kit - adds another door bar to each side. $40 for a coupla pieces of tubing. At that price you'd think they would be cut to fit, but they're not. ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
Guest Frank280z
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with S&W.I've had nothing but good business with them. Clearly the kit is not a direct weld-in. But I got that from previous threads before I decided to purchase. But aside from that the sales associate seemed very professional and curtious. The bars for the the sides are going to be tuff to install. I will be taking mine down to the exhaust shop for an easier fit. The main hoop went in great. Cross bar was bent for me. But the other four points were easy. Frank
Owen
Sorry to hear that. I too have had good luck so far with them. Maybe it was just the person you spoke to. If it p*sses you off that much and if it's worth your time, complain to S&W, maybe you'll get something out of it...like swing bar kits for the door bars??? Guest Anonymous
I won't tell you what they can do with them. s&w guy on phone: "I haven't seen a seam on any of our cages" I got the extra door bars in today and they are just welded pipe, despite what they told me. I've convinced myself that's OK, but they still lied through their teeth. Also, the extra door bars are just straight cut pieces of pipe. ie. not fitted in. ie. I will have to notch cut the ends of each of the 4 bars. ie. they charge $40 for 4 pieces of 2 foot long tubing. Those wonderfull[sic] s&w guys sure won't get any more of my buisness, and you shouldn't give them any of yours either. ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
Mike kZ
I never had a problem with them. What do you need 4 2ft bars for? 2 4ft or so, door bars come with their kit.
