what is this worth ? L28 w/ N42 Head

Hey Guys,

 

After searching ALOT i was unable to find the info that I need. I have just recently pulled my L28 block with N42 head from my 1972 240z to do a sbc swap. Obviously this isn't the original engine and was installed about 8K miles ago. At the time of install, both the head and bottom end were rebuilt. It also has a brand new clutch/fly/pressure plate.

 

What would be a fair price to ask for the Long Block, including the Fuel Injection parts, 5 speed tranny, misc accessories, wiring harness, ecu, header, intake manifold, tb, and most everything in the engine bay ??? I know the tranny alone goes for $200+ both on here and ebay. So, for everything, what do you think a fair price would be to ask ?

The head in the picture (on the engine, not the girl) looks like a round port head. Are you sure its a N42 head?

ur right johnc, its the N47 head, i just went and rechecked. Has N42 on the block stating its an L28.

 

My Bad. So what would this setup be worth ?

maybe around $400 for the rebuilt engine with 8k on it. I rebuilt mine for the cost of 600-700, to give you an idea. I say sell the clutch seperately for around 90bucks, unless it is an upped performance clutch.
