pparaska
I have the 280ZX brake Master Cylinder (MC) that has the two separate plastic resevoirs on my car. I don't know if that is the late or early one, but the other version of the 280ZX MC has one resevoir. Anyway, the question is this: Does the forward-most resevoir feed the circuit for the front brakes or the rear? Thanks for any help. ------------------ Pete Paraska - 73 540Z - Marathon Z Project - pparaska@home.com">pparaska@home.com -
Mike kZ
I have the same Master. The larger rear reservoir is for the front brakes.
pparaska
Thanks! And I got it plumbed in correctly as well. Any idea what years the two resevoir 280ZX MC went on?
Guest scca
ALL z or ZX up to 1981 use a separate mounted fluid reservoir. 82-83 use a single reservoir with a internal bridge to make sure one end cannot bleed the whole master dry ------------------ Mike mike@fonebooth.com http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes.html raceparts and brake upgrades.
