Russ
Hello all, I know things similar to this exist, but on behalf of my Z club (The Z Club of GB http://zclub.net) I have set up http://www.aboutz.net/ What I'm hoping to do is create an encyclopedia (using the same framework as wikipedia) for anything related to Zs. I know of a nice 350z one, but I hope this will eventually encompass all models, and provide a free and open resource for us to call upon. The way it works is people are able to freely contribute to the site, and add information. I'm trying to encourage my club to add things as and when they find something of use, and it can be anything so long as there is a link to Zs somewhere. My friend is a big drifting fan and so added details of drivers who have drifted 350zs, later on tonight I intend to add details of what to look for when buying a Z32 along with VIN number and production years for S30s It's ugly at the moment, and will need some tweaking, but hopefully if we get the ball rolling then maybe it'll be a nice place for us all to reference. My only concern is regional variations between the cars, but wikipedia is so successful that I have some faith it'll work out ok. Anyway I hope a few of you will find time to take a quick look, there isn't much to see at the moment, but as the content grows hopefully so will the visitors. Any feedback is welcome, oh and HybridZ information is also welcome in the encyclopedia. Thanks, Russ

b__sosick
who needs a encyclopedia, when we have hybridZ??
Russ
Thanks for the encouragement BitWel, I've had a nice response so far, I'm going to busy trying to add as much as I can for the next couple months which in turn will *hopefully* help things along. b sosick: I think the two are very different places I wouldn't dare think about trying to replace this site, firstly it'd fail, secondly what would be the point. Whereas this site covers Hybrid Zs perfectly, the encyclopedia is to be a resource about Zs in general, the cars, specifications, history, people involved in them etc Thanks again

jhaag
Russ: I have a photocopy of a list of articles compiled by Colin Shipway, a member of the Z Car Club of Britain, that was published in Z-Car: a legend in its own time (Ben Milspaugh). If he is still a member of the club, could you see if he would like to load the list? The list was very helpful in tracking down many of the articles related to the 280ZX (my car) from U.S. magazines.
