jay28
When I dont mine I welded plates into the holes, also welded a secrion of flat bar along the bottom of the bumper to make it more ridged. any flexing at all and you will have cracks. Netrix
How long does this metal2metal last? What is the advantage / disadvantage to body filler/bondo?
Oddmanout84
metal2metal Oh.... That's interesting... never heard of it. But I'd certainly look into it as an option for my upcoming butt shaving... er... my Z's butt....
benitoz
metal to metal is good stuff, and it sands much harder then regular bondo, I use it over patches and welds where I might worry about axpanding ect. and had good luck so far, they only thing is... if you sand it wear a mask and a good one and sweep up all the dust! its like aluminum dust... I swear you can feel alzhiemers kicking in ....
Globerunner513
good to know thanks! Sounds like this would have been good stuff to use for my project, but Im happy with how it turned out. I'd look harder for a welder though if i were to do it again.
