I removed the shroud so I could install the fan, which I think looks better. I also have the cone filter mounted on to a trimmed 3" steel furnace vent (now thats a hybrid, Ford+Nissan+Home Depot ...lol) Any suggestions on creating a plastic box to encase the filter so that my fan doesnt blow the hot air into it?
