Guest kozby1976
I've paid close to $1000 for a parts car before...the z looks nice man..good deal. Floors can be fixed...frame rails and shock towers are nighmares. I bought a 76 2+2 from a guy in IN this past weekend and the floor gave way when we jacked it up to pull its engine...the sad thing is the car is a 58k miles, original owner car with the original keys...the interior is in really good condition too...don't drive your Z in the winter months they RUST from the inside...out. rudypoochris
I would, if I were you, be content with what you got. You probably will never find a Z in the rust free or perfect condition unless it has already been completed (not a project any more) or unless you are willing to pay the big bucks. That 280z was a steal though from what you said, unless of course you didn't check the rust spots and it was indeed rusting in many other places.
