Guest Anonymous
Are the rear struts all the same? ie. if I had a 260 or a 280 rear strut to test the brake fitment on, would it for sure work on my 240? Don't have a spare 240 strut in a convient junkyard, just 280 ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
pparaska
I don't know for sure, but I'm 99% sure that dimension is the same. I think all the differences are in the strut tube. I believe the casting below the tube is the same part(s).
Guest scca
they are the same for that dimension you need morgan.. all others are different as Pete has mentioned Mike
pparaska
260 and 280 struts are different in several ways. Tube diameter and gland nut is one difference, height of tube may be another.
Guest Anonymous
Well, what about as far as brakes go? The offset from the caliper/drum mounting face to the hub surface the drum/rotor sits on - is it the same? Stuff like that..... ------------------ Morgan http://z31.com/~morgan/s30 http://carfiche.com
