JustinOlson
I'm looking at doing a twin turbo setup much like this picture for my Z. I'm wondering if these truck manifolds would clear the frame rails? Regards, Justin
BringIt
I will let you know in the next few weeks. It is looking good I did a test fit without the mounts (Motor was in the car) and it looks like it will fit.
JustinOlson
Very Nice! This looks like a very effective way to do a budget single or twin setup on the LS motors. Please take pictures when you test fit the headers. Regards, Justin
tfreer85
Just FYI, to do this you need to use the 6.0 Truck Manifolds. I think it would be cool to do, I think the problems that you'll run into is the steering column on the driver's side. There is a lot of info LS1tech.com about these type of setups. BringIt
actually the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 Manifolds are all the same. But I did get some for a 03 Silverado SS though. The only problem I see ( If the motor was sitting almost in the right spot ) was the flange hitting the framerail. I'll just have to grind/mill off the flange and weld a piping extension to it. Was considering doing that anyway so that I could use V-band Clamps for the Y-Pipe. I'll be going Single Ive got 3 manifold sets here. 98 stock f-body manifolds - 05 GTO 6.0 Manifolds - and 6.0 Truck Manifolds. I'll get one of them to work and let you guys know.
