Guest JAMIE T
Anyone have a deckplate for a RB26? I'm going to have one waterjet if noone has one I can borrow. Matt, do I need a deck plate? I know on all my V8's I used a deck plate and I'd imagine it'll help with the I6 also right? I'm going to go ahead and do rods and pistons to get this beast bullet proof. Guest JAMIE T
Who might I ask, would have one of those? I KNOW my machinist doesn't, LOL! If I make a program from the Head gasket, that'll be good enough right? How thick? I was thinking 1-1/4" plate.
skyline240z
Hi Jamie Your other machinist has one. I have one here, but it will cost some money to ship it to you. Rick
Guest JAMIE T
Thanks Rick, "My other Machinist" LOL, for sure! I had my mounts anodized gold! I had already had them done clear but they didn't bling-out enough! You're right about it costing a bit to ship. Probably 50 bucks atleast. I'm going to see if my guy can make one from a gasket drawing. Thickness? Anyone?
