Pop N Wood
Wierd that it is driven off the same serpentine belt driving the other accessories.
silicone boy
I think that may just fit under my FD3S--once I take a hacksaw to the hood. I wonder what 950 HP and 2800 pounds of curb weight feels like?

ziptieracer
Wierd that it is driven off the same serpentine belt driving the other accessories. that's what i was thinking. it's got pretty good wrap around the pulley though. i'm sure that's one of the reasons why all their real world data is at 8lbs or less. anything much more than that and you'd get belt slip like crazy. they say the charger is CAPABLE of 18psi and 1000hp, they never said you could do it on that belt setup.... im sure you'd have figure out some sort of cog belt setup if you wanted over 10 lbs. iaconsultants
I can not say what 18psi will do on one of those belts but I can say that 15 psi has been working for me just fine on my 4-Runner (its been reworked a lot when it comes to the stock 3.4 engine) The belt is really long and could almost be used as a jump rope. I would hate to go to the parts store and see if they have that one laying around. The supercharger setup does look really nice which almost makes me want to go away from twin turbos, but I am not just there yet.
