Guest Jason
Figuring how much your spring compresses around a big turn is not much more difficult. You can do that with same method as calculating the ride hight, but taking into account weight transfer from the roll bar and additional loading caused by the turn. If you want to know how your car reacts on bumps (dynamics), you will also need unsprung weights, spring rates and damping from both car and tires, moments of inertia, size and shape of bump, wheel diameter, and how fast you are traveling. Its a lot more difficult than calculating ride height.
