Need a fuel pump for my 82 ZX Turbo

I need help. I've reentered into the Z field after being away for so many years (sold my 73 240Z in 1993) and just picked up an 82 280ZX Turbo. The car is in really nice shape and I've done some work to it but I'm having problems trying to get it to idle. I ran the tank dry of it's old gasoline and then changed the plugs, cleaned the injectors and changed the fuel filter but it's still refusing to idle properly and stalls. I've noted that the fuel pump is now making a loud whining/humming noise when it runs and I figure it needs to be replaced. Does anyone know where I could get a cheap replacement? Maybe an aftermarket pump that's basically drop in? Also, before I do this, does anyone know what the fuel pressure for this pump should be, I have read somewhere before that it was 30-32 psi? Is this true? Any input would be appreciated.

I'm running a factory pump still on mine. 30-35 psi was what I was getting. Now I just got mine back on the road again and had to "help" the pump out some. I hooked up the pump directly to a 12+v source (my booster box) it had some buildup and giving it more voltage helped it to clear it up. Now it seems to be working fine. If having to get another I would go aftermarket, I've seen lots of peeps using the walbro 255 with good success but I have no personal experience with it. Best of luck
