datman
I had to cut my front spoiler too, I also slice a bit of the tie rod bush just to pull it back a few mm
OlderThanMe
Did you mean T/C rod?
datman
yep thats the one! I ended up using the old rubber bush on one side and the new urethane bush on the side under compresion. I know a few people that have had rods snap when using new urethane bushes on sides
RB26powered74zcar
Datman, what pieces did you use on your front valance? It looks like you have a custom spook attached to the lower valance, but what year lower valance/spoiler is that?? I like the large opening you get by using that set up. Do you have a strait on shot of your front end?
datman
J. Soileau , Its a regular Uk lower fibreglass spoiler from a 240 or 260z, I am actually removing it for a deeper/wider type. I do like the look and will probably make corner bumpers and a custom grill to go with the new spoiler http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d39/golfg60gti/?action=view¤t=frontz.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch1
OlderThanMe
that is a really cool spook. Just if it was full width going into some flares.. Here is my front end...It needs better tire coverage on the front though. nice and low even with no motor or tranny...
datman
Nice one olderthanme, looks like the dam I am about to fit to my ca, except I don't have the air vents here is a shot of it before it was repainted http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d39/golfg60gti/?action=view¤t=PICT0006.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch1
OlderThanMe
is yours fiberglass? Mine is the flexible urethane version that has saved me numerous times with parking next to curbs.
mom'sZ
olderthenme: where did you get your urethane spoiler from?
OlderThanMe
It came with my car. I was lucky. I think Zcarparts.com has them for around $160 or so. The very bottom part is just the home depot lip...
