hoov100
i was recently at a local auto parts auction and scored a aluminum (what the shop called it) BBC block, i figures since i have a 72 shell sitting there waiting for a motor i might as well drop in a motor i could build myself, so i bit the bullet on orderd a lunati "stroker" crank and some eagle h-beams since im gonna be spraying ALOT i might as well not have to worry about internals breaking, so here it begins...a BBC stroker buildup... Guest EPS
Do not just start bolting up parts! You will find poor performance and much expense. Educate yourself first. Talk, read and above all, take your time - atleast a year and then you can have sometning that performs and is not a HEADACHE!
hoov100
well, im about to start work at a shop the specializes in high performance chevy motors and whenever im not at home im either working on an sbc or an ls1, im just buying what i need when i can get it..i know what im doing as far as building it, its just the progress wont really start happening until i can save up enough for pistons, heads, rods, cam....etc im going with wiseco pistons and might be over-boring it .20 over.
