'93 N/A Z32 Engine Question

Theres a few things to note

Would you be using 1 turbo's or 2? If you only wanted to put on 1, you would either need to join the exhaust manifolds, or only 1 side of the engine would power the turbo

You could turbocharge the NA motor, but you could only run low boost pressures otherwise you would kill your motor very quickly (high compression motor) With the low boost, you should be ok fuel wise, but you may want to get this check with some sort of air fuel ratio test to make sure the engine isn't leaning out

The loom would not cause you a problem, but you would need to control the boost independently of the ECU

You may need a twin turbo ECU, as I'm not sure at what point the NA ECU would no longer work.

If you are wanting bigger boost pressures, it is realistically cheaper to swap your engine for a TT engine, as if its anything like the engine market over here, the cost of a used VG30DETT is cheaper than a rebuild, which is what you will need to do to make your existing engine more suitable

The car really would need some kind of means of tuning(i.e. Zemulator), dont just throw in a TT ECU because the engines are different therefore need different tunes. Like said above, if you are going single turbo then you have to combine the manifolds into one which means custom manifolds...Unless you choose to run a STS style turbo system with the turbo in the back by the muffler. If thats the case then you need to have lots of piping custom made for your exhaust making it a single and also the charge piping going back up to the front woulf have to be fabbed too. If you search on twinturbo.net you ill find a guy that did put the stock turbo equiptment on the NA engine. It made decent numbers and had a very broad powerband compared to the low compression turbo engine. Still if you really want a turbo I think your best option would be to sell the car you have and buy a turbo(unless you really want a 2+2. And if thats the case then its time to buy a TT front clip and do a full swap.

Are you a Nissan purist? What is your goal for this car? Are you just looking for raw straight line power? If so a SBC swap may be a good choice. If you are looking to still have some balance in the car then an LSx is a great choice because it actually weighs less than the VG30de. One other, probably more expensive, option would be a VH45 swap(Q45 V8). This is great if you are looking to stay in the Nissan family, but the aftermarket for it is not very large.
