Friends --

WAY off topic, but please let it through...

I'm sending this to everyone on my e-mail lists. Whether you are a sports car enthusiast or not, helping people is what friendship is all about. I called the dealership and this is totally on the up-and-up. Won't you please take the time to write a check and maybe win a nifty sports car in the deal? For the price of a tank of gas, even at last year's prices, we can make a huge difference in this family's situation. But you've got to pull that checkbook out and write.

Visit the ZANY website for more info/details (link below), then forward this to as many people as you can. Thanks.

Drax, all:

If we each do 2 things, we can really help this guy out --

1) Write a check for $20 (?) for 4 chances to win a really nice 240Z, and

2) Send this to everyone you know who has a sports car or a heart.

My ZANY contact sent me the whole story - it is sad beyond description. Word is that the guy was/is just a stand-up dude, the kind you'd wanna hang out with, a lot like "us". Twenty bucks is less than chicken scratch but if 100 of us do it, that's $2,000 worth of house payments or car payments or food; it's $2,000 worth of peace of mind for a family that probably hasn't had much of that lately.

Gonna go home and hug my wife and kids....
