DavyZ
Hoover, good to hear that the monster is running (really well I guess) and you've made good headway. Regarding the seatbelts, I had a 510 with a 4 point harness, and we removed 1 harness to give us a little more flexability to getting in and out. It helped a lot! I like the feeling of a wide harness, which is something that you just don't get with stock belts. And with as much power as you are pushing, it's probably a very good idea. Guest Anonymous
Hey Everyone, Haven't been on line for a while. I've been very busy with the family, work and trying to finish my car with a lot of success. Today, I'm installing the DFI software into my lap top and doing some minor adjustments on the lowend side. So far @ 25psi, my Z popped a wheely (I wish I had a pic. or digital camera with me), I didn't expect that one. While installing my interior I forgot about the type of seat belts/harness I wanted to use and wanted to know what eveyone else is using. My new roll cage is cool but it's a small headache to get into. I did my best to keep my car as comfortable as possible, but the roll cage just went over the line. My other Z has a 4 pt. harness which is very impractical for driving around the street. I want to keep functional for an everyday driver. I was thinking of keeping the stock seat belts and also using a 4 pt.... Advice? I'm also looking for some interior pieces that were mangled during the roll cage installation. I need a new 71 center console, driver side door panel and heater/vent control panel. Thanks, Hoover
Guest jcp240z
Hey Hoover, Glad to see that the beast will finally breath again You should look at some of the Schroth belts as a good, daily driver but still save your @ss unit.

Guest Anonymous
No wonder my car's front end popped up. My car is running on race fuel and now it has to be down tuned.... James, where do I get those seat belts, I need them ASAP while I'm working on the interior and bolting back in the seats. Leonard, I'm going to spend 2 weeks at the dyno shop trying out different combinations of injectors etc.... Again, I NEED interior pieces.....HELP.... They carry Schroth, TRW-Sabelt, and Sparco Be a good place to start looking as you can see all the product lines and their relative prices. Guest Anonymous
Thanks for the links, it's exactly what I'm looking for, now I just have to pick one. I want to use the stock mounting bolts for the lap belt, does anyone know if these aftermarket belts will accomodate the stock Z bolts? BLKMGK
The belts I've got have mounts that screw into the stock boltt holes. These are Simpson eye bolts - same as what you see in Jeg's I think. Am actually about to order a couple more though as the eye bolts I've got fit but I've not got the clip for the darned belts - doh!
