Chewievette Posted September 28, 2006 Share Posted September 28, 2006 My friend's '89 Firebird(v6) lost second gear the other day and we need to figure out the cheapest way to get if fixed. Since we are both out of a job, money is a little scarce. Could we take it apart and replace the damaged parts to get it working again or do we need to get another transmission for him?
