racerx260
I just put a 280zx wiper motor in my 260. Rain x at night is not good enough. went in fairly easy . I cut a notch in the 260 mount and redrilled the three mounting screws and used a couple of wiring diagrams and presto ! wipers.I have the fluid / wiper function and two speeds. next is to get it to park its self instead of timing the switch.but for now its great. racerx260
I've got to build a setup for a friend and I'll try and get the park function working on his.then i'll get the full wireing to you.Tried mine out in the rain to day. much better, but then there wasn't any where to go but up. 74Adam
So, it is significantly faster than the S30 wiper?
ezzzzzzz
The secret to parking is applying 12v to the ground side of the motor as the arms move to the bottom. The ground is actually removed by the deactivated relay so there is no short. There is a cammed switch and relay that does this in the S30 motor. I've looked at diagrams but the S30 wiper motor schematic leaves a lot to be desired as far as the actual stalk switch goes. I haven't looked hard enough to determine where the relay is either (probably in the pass side footwell).
