240zV8
how come you got rid of that and went back to a l28? Just out of curiosity.
roninjiro
too easy, simply put. it was cheap, fast, and not much of a challenge for me. i got over 400hp with less than $1000. and also i had internal failure (piston wrist pins)
280zwitha383
haha, oh yeah by the way it had internal failure....
240zV8
lol ^ But if u wanted a challenge, u should have put some new pistons in and twin turbo'd the 350. (me on jepordy) I'll take 400 hp for $1000 please...lol
280zwitha383
EXACTLY. I don't want to sound incredibly rude but the whole I just got too much power too easily is a load of crap. 400hp isn't a challenge at all today, so what. Go big or go home. I'm at the house right now...

I'm at the house right now... your right, it is a load of crap. after the 3 wristpins failed i said screw it im going home. i guess it was easy to get that power, and should have shot higher, like 240zv8 said and twin turbo'd it. i dont know, some may say stupid move, i say oh well, you have to do it to experience it. btw,i am in no way offended, b/c i would have said the same thing now that i read back on it. 280zwitha383
Well, we're cool then . Do you have any idea why they failed?
roninjiro
i really dont know, might have been defective pins? i really have no clue, i accually never knew anyone who had that happen to them b/f. so i take it as a sign (v8 not for me). 280zwitha383
Well shoot. If you've already got the transmission driveshaft etc. etc. You should have just dropped a cheap 350 or 305 in it. It would make more power than most L engines.
