Modern Motorsports Ltd
Need to know as their seem to be a few brake pad PN changes amongst toyota in the 80's. What year/model/engine do the vented calipers come from? '88/4wd/V6 4runner? I searched the forums and found 88'4runner....the smaller engine had the oldstyle pads and I want to make sure I get the right ones out to a friend. thanks Is it '88's only that these were available on? spotfitz
From what I remember about the conversion: The calipers used on the V6 4 Runner were the same as the ones used on the Land Cruiser of the same year, '88. Meaning they were the S12W versus the S12 for the non-vented rotor, (which I'm using) if I remember correctly. Hope it helps.
Tim240z
Ross, If you go to the link on this site and just highlight the text with your cursor, you can read up on it....I think the text renders in the same color as the background, but if you highlight it, it becomes visible...that should give you the information needed.
