rustrocket
Hey guys. For my other spitfire ka-turbo project, i've realized that the stock chassis isn't going to hold up to what i'm going to do for it, at least not for long. The spitfire chassis is shaped like an hourglass, and very prone to twisting with lost of torque. I'd like somebody's help designing a tube chassis that will be built out of : chromoly round tubing or aluminum box tubing. Some details as follows: Keep same wheelbase As light as possible Possible conversion from spitfire double wishbone front suspension to macpherson strut/a-arm style, while increasing front track an inch or two. Incorporate mounting points for custom s14 rear end (i have this already) I dont have much money, but i can offer a couple hundred bucks right now. Maybe i could share my women with you too. I basically need something i can just show my fabricator and have him do it, because i dont have any tools or knowledge on chassis design. Any help would be great, local or far. Feel free to pm me or reply on here.' Thanks very much. Cam "rustrocket"
