Guest Daddyrick
When I went to install my S&W roll cage (8 pt), I realized it was going to involve a lot of custom cutting and fitting to get it right. So I went and bought several sections of similar diameter PVC pipe. Test cuts for the various angles were a breeze using the PVC. No need to worry about mistakes when making the mock up with PVC, if you make a mistake, just cut another piece! After a proper fit is determined, just copy the pattern to the real thing and in no time you are finished.
Tim240z
When I did mine last weekend, as I mentioned in an earlier post, I had to do a lot of fabbing....I used the core of a paper towel roll to get the angles right, then I just cut it long ways and wrapped it around the tubing and transfered the template with a marker and cut...worked really well, but start saving your paper towel rolls NOW!!! Cheapest way I could think of, and the transfer is 100% accurate. Tim
